Watched the first episode of season 3 last night. 10 minutes in and the season plot line is clear. Doug Stemper can't live without being needed by his boss but he's served his purpose. Addiction will kick in, he'll become a liability and will bring the president down with the help of the girl that smashed his brains in, after hed smashed her back doors in!

I did see the original first back in 1990 and it was very good.
But this remake is better because there is more detail due to the massive difference in running lengths i.e. 4 hours against 20 hours +
